Pedalin' (01)

Vloggin' - Trash Garden.

A brief tour of the Wingnut Bike Works Trash Garden. A project started about 3 years ago. The area behind the property where the Works is located was overgrown with weeds and vines that were cluttered with old broken beer bottles and other trash when I moved into the place. I chopped down vines and pulled up weeds and raked it all by hand until I eventually had cleaned and cleared the entire area. Then I hooked up the cart to my bike and went dumpster diving. The entire garden was created using trash, recycled items and salvaged wood from the dumpsters here in Bloomington, Indiana. It is a lot of work but the fresh veggies and greens are more than worth the effort! Always a work in progress. This video is a few weeks old and the garden is now in full bloom. I will take the camera out with me the next time I go to tend it and upload an updated video of how the harvest is coming along this year. Thanks for watching!
