I was walking down the Ave. today grumbling about all of the drunk college students that are cluttering up the streets downtown during homecoming weekend (
UGH!) when I spotted this beautiful old beater out of the corner of my eye!
Look at those curves! It was a Huffman Dixie Flyer!

She was covered in pitted rust but the original paint could still be seen poking out in places. I feel stoked to have gotten to see one in person and so randomly!

I stopped so we could take these pictures and hoping that whoever owned this sweet beast would make themselves known, but no one stepped up.

I left a
business card on the frame in desperate hopes that if the owner ever decided to part with this exquisite ride that I might have at least a slim chance of getting my hands on it!
